This litter has the same parents as my ‘I’ litter, of which Lexi is one.
You can see how they are developing by viewing the ‘I’ Litter page, and Lexi’s page, suffice to say that I am pleased with how they are turning out.
The two that are being shown are doing well in the ring. Both won Reserve Best Puppy in Show awards, and Best Puppy in Breed at Championship shows. Lexi is only the third Norwegian Elkhound since 1978 to win a Regional Heat of the ‘Pup Of The Year’ Contest and qualify for the Grand Final. She is now a champion and has 3CC and 2RCC’s. Brother Tryg has won a RCC so far.
I am pleased that a repeat of this combination has produced nice puppies, so far they look promising with Barbelka Kaprys winning her class of 6 at her first Championship show in January 2006 at only just 6 months old, and winning classes since then. IRISH CHAMPION Barbelka Kaliber has done well in Ireland winning his Irish title and CACIB’s and two Championship show group places in 2006. He is also siring promising pups of his own, and has an excellent Hip Score of 3/3, and has been eye tested.
